The coupé version of the Porsche 959 was already iconic, but this new model is truly unique. The result of 4,000 hours of meticulous work, this convertible features all the technological characteristics of the typical 1980s race car, at the urging of driver Jürgen Lässig. With its 450bhp engine, the 959 was the first car to feature a 4-wheel drive system that would go down in the history of sports cars. It will be auctioned on May 22nd by RM Sotheby’s, with a starting bid of €1.7 million. For this price, a windscreen and replacement mirrors are included!
