A Dramatic Winter by Weinsanto
Crazy, freezing and theatrical: here are the three watchwords of Weinsanto’s Fashion Show, held on the first day of Paris Fashion Week. The young fashion designer came up with a unique show aptly named “Complètement givrée” (completely crazy), featuring a silvery retro-futuristic style. Models look like they are shaking from the cold, holding their shoulders, covered with a short cloak made of frosty pearls, or wearing a headdress reminiscent of a gigantic snowflake. Many looks feature fur, worn in full-length coats or just as a detail at the end of the sleeves. Grey reigns supreme, all the way down to the nails, and to accompany this show full of silver leather and denim, Victor Weinsanto chose Camille Lellouche for a live, authentic musical setting. The highlight of the show was a voluminous wedding dress, with a structured veil and petticoat, as if set on ice. At this crazy show, we met Clara Berry, Willy Cartier, Catherine Baba, Loïc Prigent, and Charles de Vilmorin, among others.
