Fiorucci’s “Beatitudo” Is a Holiday in the ’90s
Francesca Murri dedicates the Fiorucci Fall-Winter 25/26 collection to the idea of Beatitudo and its endless interpretations, setting it in a surreal vacation resort nestled between palm trees and snow-capped mountains. If it’s true that “mid-seasons no longer exist,” then Fiorucci embraces this concept by mixing summer and winter pieces. The show opens with a look that embodies this philosophy: a maxi t-shirt with a maritime print, layered under a transparent waterproof covering, paired with orange tights, glossy ankle boots, and a warm maxi scarf.
The residents of the Fiorucci holiday village come straight from the ’90s to help us rediscover the art of mix and match. Some go grocery shopping with a trolley, a long coat, and woven black leather sandals; others take a stroll wearing a mini dress made entirely of Polaroids. Latex is a recurring element, especially in the form of low-rise trousers in bold, glossy hues, styled with cardigans layered over bodysuits and t-shirts. Meanwhile, weather keeps breaking fashion rules: swimwear is paired with puffer jackets featuring prints of snowy mountains, and vinyl leggings peek through airy dresses with thin straps and high slits.
Among the ’90s-inspired accessories, standout pieces include vibrant fanny packs, scarves with peach-coloured trims featuring the Fiorucci logo, and marbles transformed into necklaces. At the end of the show, Amanda Lear appears on LED screens, toasting to the audience: “Blessed are the young”. But true Beatitudo isn’t about age—it belongs to those who can recognize the intimate beauty of play in everything. And Fiorucci has just proven it.
