Jordan Roth Illuminates “La Nuit de la Mode” at the Louvre

#featured

La Nuit de la Mode at the Louvre lit up the museum on Thursday, July 10, 2025, as part of the Étés du Louvre festival. Held as an evening event, this unprecedented moment at the end of Paris Fashion Week transformed the Louvre into a living stage, blending runway shows, performances, workshops, and a concert beneath the iconic glass pyramid. The journey began in the galleries and continued under the pyramid, offering a full immersion into the “Louvre Couture” spirit. Around a hundred contemporary silhouettes engaged in dialogue with the museum’s historical treasures as part of the Louvre Couture exhibition.

Among the evening’s highlights was Jordan Roth’s performance, Radical Acts of Unrelenting Beauty, a world premiere presented in three acts in the Marly Courtyard. The night concluded with a festive and elegant concert by Lucky Love, held beneath the majestic glass pyramid.

“FEMMES”, Pharrell Williams curates a group exhibition for PERROTIN Paris

#featured

The curator-gallerist duo Pharrell Williams and Emmanuel Perrotin has still plenty to offer. Building on the success of ‘G I R L’ in 2014, Perrotin Gallery and Pharrell Williams teamed up again to create a new exhibition featuring the work of nearly 40 artists of African descent: ‘FEMMES’. With this new group show, the singer pays tribute to the women who have had a positive influence on his life and the ground laying work of African-American artists.

From March 20th, Perrotin Paris invites us to discover a selection of multimedia pieces, including textiles, sculptures, paintings, videos, photographs and installations. Challenging the notions of history and memory, these works tackle the themes of maternity, filiation and spiritual heritage. Featuring art in all its forms, the exhibition celebrates women in all their diversity. After the official opening, guests were invited to a special evening sponsored by Instagram, Moët & Chandon and Don Papa at the Club l’Aventure, where Théodora delivered a live performance before Tysha Cee, Pedro Winter and Andy 4000 took over the turning tables. We crossed paths with Aya Nakamura, Oli, Fary, Ladj Ly, Lous and the Yakuza, Aaron, Aure Atika, Agathe Rousselle, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Johan Creten, Iván Argote, Mathilde Denize, Bernard Frize, Xavier Veilhan, JR, Laurent Grasso, Christiane Pooley, Jean-Marie Appriou, Sophie Calle. We also had the pleasure of meeting some of the exhibiting artists who attended the opening: Mequitta Ahuja, Kenia Almaraz Murillo, Malala Andrialavidrazana, Jess Atieno, Theresa Chromati, Kenturah Davis, Alex Gardner, Todd Gray, Prince Gyasi, Lauren Kelley, Naomi Lulendo, Georgina Maxim, Thandwine Muriu, Zéh Palito, Emma Prempeh, Robert Pruitt, Katia St. Hilaire, Eden Tinto Collins, Kennedy Yanko, Kapwani Kiwanga, and Katia St. Hilaire.

Dolce & Gabbana at the Grand Palais

#featured

Exhuberant, mystical, majestic and thorough, the exhibition “Du Cœur à la Main” (From the Heart to the Hands) has landed in the French capital and is on the agenda of every Parisian worthy of the name. Following a sensational reception in Milan last summer, Dolce&Gabbana’s exhibition takes up residence at the Grand Palais from January 10th to March 31st. Welcoming us into a unique and dreamlike universe of intricate craftsmanship and extravagant luxury, “Du Cœur à la Main” plunges us into the Baroque-inspired nature of the Italian luxury Maison. This retrospective invites us to explore the creative process of the two couturiers in all its complexity, from the dreamy preliminary sketches to the very final touches, through a captivating itinerary that pays tribute to iconic pieces from the Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria and Alta Gioielleria collections. Each of the 12 rooms that make up the show creates a unique atmosphere, taking visitors to the heart of the workshop, where the dreams of these artisans become, stitch after stitch, an exceptional and exquisite reality. A spark of light that shines through the grey Parisian sky.

Lancôme and the Louvre Join Forces to Celebrate Beauty

#featured

On the occasion of the Musée du Louvre’s Night of Grandeur, Lancôme co-hosted a gala dinner to celebrate their shared vision, Beauty Is A Living Art. This night at the museum was an invitation to engage in a dialogue between Art and Beauty, while also marking an unprecedented collaboration between the two French cultural powerhouses. By offering an exploration of the Louvre through its most emblematic works, Lancôme brings together different eras and cultures, inviting women to find their terrain of expression, thus showcasing the endless creative potential of Beauty. The Lancôme x Louvre collaboration carries a feminist statement at its core: each of the statues, standing as heroines alongside the muses inspiring the campaign, embodies Lancôme’s declaration of commitment, independence and self-confidence. We had the pleasure of meeting Amanda Seyfried, Isabella Rossellini, Penélope Cruz, Aya Nakamura, Emma Chamberlain, Chiara Ferragni, as well as Lancôme’s Creative Director of Make-up, and Sheika Daley, Lancôme’s Global Make-up Artist, among many other friends of the Maison.

For over 100 years, this innovative design has been able to endure the test of time. Three shades of gold – white, pink and yellow – linked in three concentric rings. As time passed, the size, number of rings and materials evolved. Like all great icons, its versatility has allowed this jewellery to seamlessly adapt to the spirit of our contemporary days. The latest proof of this is the square-shaped 2024 version, which has pushed the idea into a whole new dimension. During a spectacular evening at the Petit Palais, the Maison welcomed friends, ambassadors, journalists and internationally renowned influencers to celebrate the centenary of this iconic symbol of French elegance and talent. During the evening, we crossed paths with Virginie Elfira, Sofia Coppola, Jisoo, Rami Malek, Mélanie Laurent, Vincent Lacoste, Jackson Wang, Ana Girardot, Joséphine Japy, Isabelle Huppert, Paul Mescal, Aimé Simone, Emma Corin, and Deva Cassel…
